We like to think we’re the “Best Of The Adirondacks” in part because we’ve stayed true to our roots. Our Adirondack lodge has a rich history dating back more than 100 years as a successful resort destination. Previously the North Woods Inn, we renamed and renovated the lodge back in 2016, reopening under the Great Pines name as an homage to the incredible trees surrounding the property.
Our modern space still pays tribute to the North Woods Inn’s days of lore and the Great Camp style of the Gilded Age, something unique to the Adirondack experience.
That style continues through each of our 29 guest rooms. No matter which area you choose—the lodge, cabins, courtside, lake view, or mountain view—you’ll enjoy the comforts of ADK living with modern amenities and incredible views.
SAFETY AND COMFORT
Enjoying quality time with loved ones in a beautiful and safe setting is the ultimate luxury right now. From the jump, we re-evaluated and refined our health and safety procedures to ensure our guests could vacation with us, worry-free. Our team helped us to carry on these changes throughout the 2020 season.
We have also taken preemptive steps to provide guests with a clear understanding of our new practices and protocols. Great Pines is AHLA Safe Stay® certified and a Global Biorisk Advisory Council STAR™ Facility.
A TASTE OF ADIRONDACK DINING
We also offer two on-site restaurants for guests and visitors: The Lodge and The Lean-To! Whether you’re looking for a fine dining experience with panoramic views of the lake or a more laid-back meal on our outdoor deck, you’ll find it at Great Pines.
The Lodge’s menu is a seasonal, regionally-inspired collection of locally-sourced food for a true taste of the Adirondacks.
At the Lean-To, you can enjoy American pub-style classics, also made with locally sourced ingredients, and check out our great selection of regional beers and other beverages at our stunning custom walnut slab bar!
