Room Reservation Policy

Deposit Policy

One night deposit will be taken at time of booking for all standard reservations. Advance purchase and other promotional discounted rates may require payment in full at time of booking.

Remaining anticipated room + tax balances are due 24 hours prior to arrival, and your credit/debit card will be automatically authorized for this amount at that time.

Cancellation & Modification Policy

Based on your specific travel dates, the cancellation & modification policy is either 5 or 10 days prior to arrival. Group reservation cancellation & modification policy is 60 days prior to arrival.

Our standard cancellation policy is 5 days prior to arrival. Reservations with travel dates during peak season and certain holiday periods are subject to a 10-day cancellation policy. Reservations that are canceled within this period will forfeit their deposit. Reservation modifications are subject to the same cancellation policies and penalties.

Any reservation canceled 72 hours or more after time of booking is subject to a $25 + tax administrative fee.

Advance Purchase and other promotional discounted rates may be non-refundable after the reservation has been booked.

No-Show Policy

No-show reservations will forfeit their first night deposit plus taxes. Payment will also be collected for the remaining balance for the total number of room nights reserved, less applicable taxes.

Peak Season Travel Dates

  • 2nd from last weekend in June – Labor Day.

Holiday Travel Dates:

  • New Year’s Day

  • Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend (Friday – Sunday)

  • President’s Day Week (Friday preceding President’s Day through following Saturday)

  • Easter Week (Friday preceding Easter through following Saturday)

  • Memorial Day Weekend (Friday – Sunday)

  • July 4th Week (entire summer season is subject to 10-day policy)

  • Labor Day Weekend (entire summer season is subject to 10-day policy)

  • Columbus Day Weekend (Friday – Sunday)

  • Veteran’s Day Weekend (Thursday – Saturday)

  • Thanksgiving Week (Wednesday before Thanksgiving through Saturday)

  • Christmas Week (Friday preceding Christmas Day through January 2nd)

Other Policies

Room Capacity: Each room has a maximum capacity set, this is 2 people per bed in each room. Any additional adults or children over 3YO are subject to an additional $40 fee per person. We DO NOT have COTS.
NYS Liquor law: Prohibits all alcohol brought on to the premises not sold by Great Pines, all alcohol brought on to the property must remain in guest rooms only and cannot be consumed elsewhere on property. 
Hotel is 100% Smoke free inside the rooms, a $200 a day cleaning fee will be charged if smoking is detected. Any un-reparable damages done to rooms including stained towels, bedding, tears in bedding pillows or stains on floor etc will be charged accordingly. For a list of these charges see front desk or your welcome binder in room.
Room towels should not be used for any outside activities such as used by the lake, taken to a waterpark, or drying off a wet dog. If you would like towels for the lake, waterpark, etc. please contact the front desk so that housekeeping can provide you with towels designated for this.
Housekeeping policy is to unplug any items that produce heat that are left unattended in rooms as they violate fire safety rules this includes but is not limited to, hot pads, irons, heat pads, curlers etc.
We respect your space. Room make ups are NOT occurring presently during the COVID 19 Pandemic. Daily Housekeeping and/or toiletry/towel replenishment is by request only. 
The front desk is not able to guarantee any room at any time, particularly if you book through a third party site, although best efforts will be made to give guests requested room numbers, we reserve the right to move the room as long as they are the same room type and rate. 
Please note there is NOT A POOL on property.
Sled Trailers: Must be parked in upper parking lots at all times
Boat Trailers: In summertime boat trailers are not permitted on property and must be parked in designated boat launches. If you have any questions concerning your reservation here at Great Pines do not hesitate to contact us. Pet Policy

All pets are additional charge of $75 per stay per pet. Housekeeping will also not enter any rooms where a dog is present, and guests with dogs must inform housekeeping when they would like them to enter when dog is not present.

PETS NEVER are to be left alone in rooms and any damages incurred will be added to bill. Any pets not registered ahead of date of arrival will be fined $200 or asked to leave. 

Any damages incurred to hotel property or removal of property from resort will be charged to credit card on file as hotel seems fit.  This can be in excess of $500. No in room party policy-to ensure we protect our guests at all time in the event of a disturbance one warning will be given to reduce noise.  If this warning isn't followed the guest will forfeit all fees and be asked to leave immediately.
